(Photo's by Paul Blake: The presence of the IRS Criminal Investigation Division suggests the possibility of the business failing to pay proper sales tax or payroll taxes.)

At about 12:30 p.m. today, the FBI-- in coordination with the U.S. Attorney, according to one officer on the scene-- led a raid of Disorderly Conduct in Five Points, collecting evidence in what officials are calling an "ongoing investigation." Spokespersons for both the FBI and U.S. Attorney for the District of South Carolina have so far been unavailable for comment.

Stay tuned.

In a swift move, the US Attorney's office has decided to clamp down on
non-estate approved Marley merch, making sure that the white, pot head market
can shop with confidence.

(and you guys might want to fix the HTML on this
post...it makes Firefox near impossible to comment with).

Lots of folks struggle to pay taxes. I think the IRS-CID boys are brought in
when there's criminal intent. There has to be either unclaimed income from drug
transactions or serious criminal behavior.
I could name five or six bars that
pay people under the table and while that is wrong, I think there was something
beyond that going on here.

everyone hates paying taxes to a certain extent but as long as we
want cops on the streets, teachers, etc, we need to
pay them..
